There's just no way your lunch was more fun than mine today. I got to have a picnic on the lawn of Little Man's school with about 500 other families fighting for a patch of shade.
The occasion? To preview the Raffle Prizes for the school carnival next week. Oh, and then there were the other tables loaded down with goodies like Clown Wigs, Ring Pop candy, beaded necklaces and feather boas for your kids to buy so you could spend more money on more useless crap.
I thought I got a good shady spot, but halfway through my lunch the sun shifted and I spent the last half hour scorching in the sun. But, Little Man was thrilled we were there and that's what counts. Better than eating at my desk surfing the web!
