Little Man had his first basketball game Saturday at McCulloch Middle School gym. His team played the Providence Patriots. It was pretty much a massacre. 23 to 7.

Every coach in Park Cities pretty much hates Providence. They are a private school that has their teams practice at recess every day. So, whereas our kids get one practice a week. They have at least 5 daily practices. Needless to say, regardless of the sport, they are pretty hard to beat.

So, it came as no surprise to anyone (kids included) when we got our hides tanned. But, I will say that the boys really hustled and gave it their best effort. And really, what more can you ask for! There's always next week... Oh yeah, we play the other Providence team next week. Get ready for another sob story. Or maybe I'll have a miracle to report. Stay tuned!
