Biography Day

Every year, the big third grade project is Biography Day. The children are asked to select a character from history and research them. They have to write a 30-second speech noting at least 5 important facts about that person. On Biography Day, the children come to school dressed as their character and deliver their speech on stage in front of the entire third-grade and all the parents. As you imagine, this is a BIG deal and the cause of much excitement.
