Venus - Where Art Thou!?

This photo post is just because people are wondering "Where's Venus been hiding?" Yes, we're still "like two sisters from different Mothers", as Venus likes to say. She's just been busy traveling for work and stuff.

We went out to dinner last night with Venus & Cenote and the Green family to celebrate the boys Biography Day performances. We took the kids to a Mongolian grill called Genghis Grill. It's a cool concept. They give you a bowl and you walk through a series of buffets and fill up your bowl with what you want cooked.

Step One: pick your meat, Step Two: add your spices, Step Three: add in your Veggies, Step Four: pick your sauce, Step Five: add your Carbs (rice or noodles). Then you hand your bowl to the server and they cook it on a big grill while you watch. Delicious.

Randy and Venus got a little carried away with the spices and sauces and made their dinner so (spicy) hot that they could barely eat it. Randy had little beads of sweat on his forehead. Cenote thought his was so good, he grabbed a straw and slurpped up his sauce right out of his bowl at the end of the meal. I swear I am not making this up...

After dinner, we went over to the Greens for an aperitif and the kids played hoops. The Green's have a great backyard with a big covered patio and couches to lounge on. We were sitting there talking and jammin' out to Kool & The Gang when all the sudden Mr. Green comes zooming out of the garage on his dirt bike making doughnuts in the yard and all the kids started whoopin' and hollerin' and running around after him.

The night ended with Cenote and Evil Kyle-Nevil (his new nickname after the dirt bike incident) deciding to take the boys "rolling". So, off they went to toilet paper someone's house. I was not in favor of this non eco-friendly practice...but I got out-voted. A very fun night!
