Sentry Lacrosse Travels to the Cherry Bomb Tournament

If you read my post yesterday, you know what a horrible time we had getting to Michigan... but once we were there, we had a blast!

Last week, 14 of Park Cities finest young lacrosse players (in my estimation) traveled to Traverse City, Michigan to compete in the annual Cherry Bomb Lacrosse Tournament in the Under 11 division. Sentry Lacrosse is a newly formed Elite Lacrosse team led by Coach Tommy Shuey and Coach Juan Carlos “Muncho” Almerido.  Sentry had a great showing, winning 2 of their 5 games.

On the second day of the tournament, it rained all day but the boys were great sports and played through it. The parents on the sidelines were soggy but enthusiastic. The thought of cocktails at the end of the day kept me going...

Players include: Ben Borus, Cole Duffy, Gordon Guest, Finn Jent, John Lancaster, Sean Maguire, Elliot Nelson, Griffin Perotti, Jake Pool, Sam Ratchford, Alex Rose, Wilson Sands, Jay Smith and Jackson Smoot.
