Donate your gently worn athletic shoes!

It seems like I am buying my little guy a new pair of shoes every 3-4 months.

Not because they are wearing out - but because he's in major growth mode and before they even get good and broken in, his toes are bumping up against the end of the sneaker.

HPHS freshman Daphne Chimbel and HPMS eighth-grader Cooper Chimbel are collecting gently worn athletic shoes and distributing them to underprivileged kids in the Dallas area. The foundation, Cleats For Hope, has collections boxes at Lone Star Shipping off Hillcrest and Not Just Soccer on Preston.

What a great way to recycle for a cause! For more information contact cleatsforhope@gmail.com.
