Mom Bloggers Take Over Park Lane Shopping Center in Dallas

Rain drops and black clouds couldn't dampen the day for the 7 lucky bloggers who were invited to take an intimate tour of one of Dallas' newest developments, Park Lane.

Shout out to my fellow Bloggers: Holly, Lea Ann, Allie, Shauna, me!, Jennifer and Nicole.

Our first stop was to Dick's Sporting Goods. As the Mother of a 10-year old sports-lovin' boy, this store gets a lot of my money! Barry talked to us about the ins and outs of how to pick the perfect shoe. I paid little attention because I do not want to know these things any more than I want to know how to change a flat tire or the oil in my car. What I did like, is that THEY know these things. The staff is super educated and informed and can tell you what you need. Me likey.

Next stop was Nordstrom Rack where I discovered that in addition to great savings on Men's, Women's and Children's clothing... they have a BOOT BAR.  My "must have" look for Fall is a great black flat boot worn with skinny jeans or jeggings. This will be my look for the next 3 months.

We stopped to refuel at Bailey's Prime Plus for lunch.  This place is fantastic - words can't even describe its opulence. I felt like I was in Las Vegas. If you've ever been to a high-end restaurant in Vegas - you know what I mean.

The highlight was the Pink Bubbly Cosmo we were served.  A concoction that had dry-ice packed in the bottom of the glass so it looked like a bubbling witch's brew. So stinkin' cool:

I had to bail on the next two stops, which were Freshberry and the Aveda Institute, to prepare for a client meeting but will be going back to visit those establishments. You think I am missing out on a spa visit?! Hell to the no!  Stay tuned for Part 2!!

COMING LATE NOVEMBER: Get read for the biggest Old Navy this state has seen! A 2-story super store is set to open, featuring an inter-active play area for the kids.  Jesus has answered my prayers and put some icing on the cupcake!

For those of you who haven't visited Park Lane development yet, this beautiful facility is located directly across Central Exp. from NorthPark Center in between Park Lane and NW Hwy.
