Phil Keoghan describes "The Ride" as one amazing race

In March 2009, Phil Keoghan, the host of “The Amazing Race” and one of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society’s most committed MS Ambassadors, left Los Angeles on his bike to embark on a 40-day ride across America that would cover more than 3,500 miles.

Joining Phil for this incredible journey were his cycling wingman, best friend, a former California Highway Patrol Officer and his father.  Together, they faced everything from sand storms and freezing temperatures to illness and injury during this endurance challenge.

In just 40 days, Keoghan raised $500,000 and unprecedented awareness and exposure for both the National MS Society and the disease.

Tonight, Phil was in Dallas to host a screening of his documentary and raise funds and awareness for the National MS Society.

I am a huge fan of the Amazing Race and it was very exciting to meet Phil and talk to him about this film and what the experience was like:
