When I was single I would make a list of all the attributes my perfect man would have. A few of them were: personality, intelligence, physically fit, a good job, would retain his hair past the age of 40, and could make me laugh.

One Man Dallas is currently looking for the best man our city has to offer - one with a charitable heart.  Each applicant will choose his favorite charity to affiliate with, and the winner and his charity split $5,000. The winner also receives two first class tickets to any American Airlines destination in North America.

Any male between 24 - 44 living in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area can enter or be nominated online. The deadline for applications is March 18, 2011. Twenty semi-finalists will be chosen and their picture and profiles will be posted online.

ONE MAN DALLAS will be chosen based in part on online voting beginning in April and open to anyone 18 or older. Four happy-hour parties will be held during the online voting period to allow the public to ‘Meet the Men’. The parties will feature the signature, ‘One Mantini,’ and complimentary appetizers. Admission is free.

Oh yes... I will be covering these man parties. Bring on the man meat!

The winner will be announced on Thursday, May 19 on by Good Morning Texas by host Amy Vanderoef and fashion expert Abby Gregory.
