One of the things I love about

Cedars Social featuring an informal model presentation from local fashion designers,
Varela + Brooks.

Isabel Varela +
Ashlee Brooks met working for
Abi Ferrin (another local design star) in 2008 and decided to join creative forces this past January. Isabel recently made it
allllllll the way to the semi-finals for consideration to appear on Season 8 of
Project Runway - and although she didn't make the show this still means she will be very successful, because what "celebrity" in Dallas doesn't have some kind of reality TV claim to fame these days! Of their design sensibility, Ashlee Brooks says, “(Our customers) can continue to expect my preference for very feminine, flowing garments, and Isabel’s tailored sensibility. It is our trademark.”
