Oh So Tasty: Chiladas

Parkies have a new reason to stay within the confines of the bubble this summer.  Chiladas, a fresh mex, fast casual concept, just opened their newest location on June 5th on Lovers Lane. The new location is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and offers delivery in the surrounding neighborhoods. Any place I can send my kid to pick up dinner on his bike, gets bonus points from me!

The press release I got states, "Holding true to a “no added MSG, no microwaves and no shortcuts” policy, Chiladas prides itself on having personal relationships with their farmers and knowing the true source of the produce served. The Chiladas team has curated a Tex-Mex menu using produce that can be traced back to the exact farm and, more precisely, the plot of land it came from. The Chiladas menu is focused on handcrafted dishes that include hand-rolled enchiladas, green chile rice with hand sliced roasted poblano peppers, and onions pickled in house. They use steam-peeled Roma tomatoes and a special blend of spices for their red salsa made daily. They also serve preservative- and gluten-free tortilla chips, and dressings made fresh each day in the Chiladas kitchen."

Chiladas is located in the old Mango Thai space at 4448 Lovers Lane, Dallas, TX, 75225 and is open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Park Cities location is also serving brunch on Saturday and Sunday.  For more information, visit www.chiladasfreshmex.com.
