Pearl Cup Coffee & Sprint ask you to pledge to NEVER text and drive.

(Press Release) Texting while driving is highly dangerous, causing more than 100,000 accidents each year, often causing serious injuries and death. Sprint is partnering with Pearl Cup Coffee on Henderson Ave.’s location on Friday, November 1, to create greater awareness around the risks of texting and driving.

Customers who make a personal pledge to never text and drive will be treated to a complimentary coffee or tea drink of their choice. Called Thanks-A-Latte, this joint Sprint and Peal Cup Coffee event is to make an impact on the driving habits of Dallas residents. In addition to drawing attention to this deadly habit, Sprint will make a donation to the Remember Alex Brown Foundation (RAB), a Texas-based organization dedicated to putting an end to texting and driving. One in three people who see messages about anti-texting while driving say they change their driving habits.

Customers who sign the pledge will receive a voucher for a refresh on their Sprint mobile devices at Sprint’s 5331 E. Mockingbird Lane store. In addition, when customers trade in the voucher, they will receive a $5 gift card to use at the Pearl Cup coffee shop on a later date.

WHEN: Friday, Nov. 1, 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
WHERE: Pearl Cup Coffee (Henderson location only), 1900 Henderson Ave., Dallas
