Masterchef Junior: Season 3 Stars 3 North Texas Contestants

9-year old Riley will have to work hard to impress Gordon Ramsay

Via the DMN: How does one get to compete on MasterChef Junior? Ryan Kate of Coppell recommends the same route that will get you to Carnegie Hall: “Practice, practice, practice,” she says. The precocious 12-year-old is one of three preteen North Texans showing off their culinary skills on Fox’s popular cooking competition show, which begins its third season at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The winner will get a $100,000 grand prize. The others from the Dallas area are Jianna, a 10-year-old from Providence Village in Denton County, and Riley, a 9-year-old from Carrollton. Their last names aren’t used on the show because of their ages. Click over to the Dallas Morning News to read an interview with these 3 culinary darlings and learn more about their favorite dishes and what it was like to work with Gordon Ramsay. Tune in to the season premiere tonight at 7pm on FOX. For more info, visit http://www.fox.com/masterchef-junior.
