Reese Witherspoon Sets Her Sights on Dallas For New TV Show

The Dallas Film Commission announced today that ABC Studios has selected Dallas as the location for an upcoming - still untitled - Meaghan Oppenheimer Project television pilot. The storyline will follow the personal and professional life of a ruthless divorce attorney in Dallas, which begins to unravel when her emotionally damaged, love-addicted sister resurfaces triggering self-destructive tendencies and exposing long-hidden family secrets. The new show is expected to show off the vibrant, urban city that Dallas is. Reese Witherspoon will executive produce alongside her producing partner at Pacific Standard, Bruna Papandrea (Gone Girl, Warm Bodies). Meaghan Oppenheimer (We Are Your Friends) wrote the pilot and will co-executive produce. The cast has not been announced.

Good News: Reese Witherspoon is involved in the project
