Going on a Treasure Hunt

Some people golf or play tennis for fun. Others work in their garden or read books.  I do none of those things. I shop. I like to shop at high-end department stores and trendy boutiques. I like to shop at Target and Marshalls. I can spend hours perusing a shoe department or fingering baubles at the jewelry counter.  I just like to shop. The colors, the textures, the accessories. I love it all.  But the kind of shopping I like the most, is resale/consignment store shopping.

I have champagne tastes on a soda-pop budget and resale stores are like treasure hunting. You never know what you are going to find and every now and then, you stumble across the greatest find in the history of man-finds.  It's a total orgasmic high to trip across a vintage clutch for $8 or a fabulous designer frock for $45.  And the best part is wearing such a find and having people "ooh" and "ahh" over your look, whilst you chuckle in your head because you know it was sheer luck and savvy styling talent that gave you such a look for less.
