The Leadership Gala Loses Leaders

Last week, I told you about a new event called The Leadership Gala that Matt Nordgren is putting together. I also noted the interesting co-inky-dink of him deciding to launch a new gala whilst he was in the middle of filming a reality TV show for Bravo.  Hey, I'm say not saying his intentions aren't good. I'm just saying it's interesting timing....

In the original press release I received, all of Matt's Most Eligible: Dallas co-stars were listed on the host committee.

Today, I got a revised press release stating:

Please note that Drew Ginsburg will not be attending The Leadership Gala on May 19 due to a scheduling conflict.  The following is the revised press release, or if you prefer to remove his name from the original press release, it was in the fifth paragraph as a member of the host committee.  I apologize for the inconvenience.

So not only is Drew off the host committee, he's now "not attending".
I smell drama! I guess we'll have to 'watch what happens' once the show airs later this Summer to see if my hunch is correct.

  1. So that's not a benefit for the Heroes Foundation.. but a TV show... whoa... what if you got there and didn't know that?

  2. Hi Yvonne and Cynthia. I am the publicist for the event and just want to clarify that it is a benefit for The Heroes Foundation and Bravo is not involved with the gala. Thanks!

  3. I never implied it wasn't a "real benefit". I merely question his timing in developing the event. However, whatever his motives are (hopefully they are pure and good) I hope the event raises a lot of funds for this charity. Bravo may not be involved, but you can damn skippy bet they will be there filming.
