Congratulations to Dallas' own Lauren Scruggs who married E! News co-host Jason Kennedy on Friday, December 12 at the Four Seasons in Irving. The festivities kicked off on Thursday with Lauren hosting a bridal luncheon at The Mansion at Turtle Creek. Among her bridesmaids were fellow fashion bloggers Amy Havens and Shannon Yoachum. That evening, the couple hosted their rehearsal dinner at Kitchen LTO in Trinity Groves.

Many of Jason's E! News co-workers were in Dallas for the wedding, including Giuliana Rancic, Ken Baker, Terrence J and Catt Sadler who hosted their daily news show live from the Four Seasons. For Friday's night's wedding, the bride wore a Romona Keveža gown and was escorted down the aisle by her father, Jeff Scruggs. The ceremony was officiated by two pastors, Matt Chandler and Judah Smith. Guests included Bill Rancic, Tony Romo and Candice Crawford Romo, Kathie Lee Gifford, Courtney Kerr, Tori Gonzales and Krystal Schlegel. Pastor Rich Wilkerson, Jr.—the man who married Kim Kardashian and Kanye West—was Jason's best man.  Hawkins Romo, 2, served as the ring bearer. During their vows, the couple exchanged rings by William Noble Rare Jewels.

For the reception, Lauren changed into a dress by her friend, designer Nardos Imam. Long before the wedding took place, the couple selected a sophisticated color scheme that featured a tonal palette of ivory, cream, champagne, blush, shades of lavender, and accents in charcoal grey and silver. The wedding reception was held at the Four Seasons Resort and Club at Las Colinas. Local band Cuvée performed a cover of Keith Urban's "Making Memories of Us" for the newlyweds' first dance.

The duo began dating in the summer of 2013, a little less than two years after Lauren miraculously recovered from severe injuries sustained after walking into a spinning airplane propeller. Jason flew to Dallas in May to propose to the Still LoLo author. "It's a blur but I can't stop smiling," he said at the time. "She told me I couldn't surprise her, but I got her good. This is the best night of my life." The proposal took place in Lauren's Texas hometown, with her close friends and relatives in attendance. Walking out on a balcony, she saw a field where candles spelled out the message, "Will you marry me?" Once Lauren met Jason downstairs, she was presented with a Jennifer Meyer diamond.
