Fashion X Dallas: Day Two Brings Twice the Fashion Fun

Project Runway in the house!!! Holla!

After the variance of designers that showed at the debut of Fashion X Thursday night I couldn't wait to get back to f.i.g. last night to see what Round Two held.  I was not disappointed. In the VIP lounge, Kendra Scott was giving away baubles and I scored a great pair of Madina gold filagree earrings. In the house to watch some fashion magic was jewelry designer Shona Gilbert of SHONA, Shannon Yoachum, Leah Pasant, The Fashionistas sent LeeAnne Locken to represent, D'Andra Simmons, andDFW Daily's Leah Frazier. I was totally star struck to see so many of my favorite Project Runway designers milling about. Even though this talented group isn't slated to show their collections until Saturday's finale performance, almost everyone came in on Friday and attended Friday's show as guests. You know I totally had to snap pics with my faves! Here's a little snippet of what you missed:

Indian bridal wear from Dallas' Red Paisleys

Emily Daccarett from Los Angeles

M.E. Shirley from Austin

Dallas' Nine Muses not only had a fantastic collection, they were awarded the first ever Fashion Fund Award for Dallas - new sewing equipment, courtesy of event sponsor Bernina.

During intermission, I had to grab a photo with two of my all-time faves from Project Runway, Michelle Lesniak and Daniel Esquivel

One of my favorite lines of the night was from Rare Trends out of Austin. Edgy, cool, hip and sophisticated. This is a girl I want to be...

Speaking of girls I want to be... THIS. IS. EVERYTHING!!!!

s.t.e.f. stands for sustainable threads ethical fashion. The entire collection consists of organic cotton, soy and hemp fabrics as well as reclaimed textiles and materials that would otherwise be disposed of.

Isabella Rose Taylor is a 13 year old teen sensation who has just launched a juniors line with Nordstrom. She clearly shares my obsession for fringe. If I was a tween, she would be my BFF.

I couldn't be prouder of my friend, Ese Azanabor, who ROCKED THE HOUSE with her Spring 2015 collection. She was the only designer who received spontaneous bursts of applause and audible gasps when her frocks came out onto the runway. Watch her finale video below:
