I am torn about this issue of Christmas decorations and the appropriate timing of said topic.On the one hand, I am completely repulsed when I am at Target (shout out) the day after Halloween to buy decorations for next year at clearance prices and they are playing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by Bing Crosby.
I mean, where's the respect for Thanksgiving. It just gets completely overlooked. Not to mention that it is still 70 degrees here in beautiful Dallas, Texas.
On the other hand, the thrifty side of me can relate to the fact that if you are going to spend hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars to have someone string lights for you - you should maximize your investment.
