The man standing on the left is my Grandfather, Dr. Robert A. Kooken. The beautiful woman sitting in the front in the blue pant suit is my Grandmother, Jane Kooken. What makes it incredibly cool for me is that this is the only photo I've ever seen of my Grandmother pregnant - and it's my Mother in there! Back then, women went to bed for 9 months and weren't seen until they were svelte again (slight exaggeration). Pregnancy wasn't the celebration then, that it is today.Thanks to my cousin for finding it and to my Uncle for sending it to me!
