Khloe Kardashian Plays Santa at Dallas City Hall

Khloe with Mayor Mike Rawlings
Khloe Kardashian introduced herself to Dallas today when she hosted a Toy Drive benefiting Children's Medical Center at City Hall in downtown Dallas.  An estimated crowd of over 1,000 people formed a line that wrapped around the sprawling complex, all hoping for a moment with Dallas' newest celebrity resident.

Dallas City Mayor, Mike Rawlings, escorted Khloe into the lobby of City Hall. Rawlings complimented Khloe for reaching out to Children's Medial Center after only being in town a few days and presented her with a Dallas Cowboys edition Monopoly game.

Dallas is a hot-bed for reality TV shows right now and several stars turned out to welcome Khloe and support the cause including Pilar Sanders, former VH1 star of Football Wives and Oxygen's Deion and Pilar: Prime Time Love, and Brooke Jeter from CMT's Texas Women.

Khloe and a fan
"I already do a lot of work with Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and now that I live here, I want to start doing work with this hospital," Khloe wrote in a blog post.

Noelle Dugan, Senior Director of PR and Marketing for Children's Medical Center told me that they "knew Khloe had worked with children's hospitals in L.A., so we knew this was a cause she has been supportive of.  We have over 300 kids in the hospital who will be spending Christmas with us, so it was really awesome of her to do something so quickly that will have such a positive impact on the City of Dallas."

"Holy cow! Over 3 thousand people showed up to city hall in Dallas!! Thank you ALL so much for donating toys and your time!!"  tweeted Khloe after today's event.

Minutes after that she tweeted again exclaiming, "The Children's Hospital will be thrilled!!! You all did such an amazing act of kindness! This will make so many young kids and teens smile!"
