Meet Edgar Gomez: Big D's Newest Fashion Design Sensation

Edgar Gomez is an emerging young Dallas designer looking to make his mark on the local fashion scene.  Five years ago he moved with his family from Venezuela to America, began attending El Centro College and enrolled in their fashion design program. It is here where Gomez realized that fashion design is his true calling.

Gomez considers himself a dreamer and is always trying to fantasy into reality. His passion for fashion design allows him to showcase his creativity through his bold designs.  The Fashionistas have already recognized Gomez by including him in their Young Designer Showcase 2011.   

Botticelli's Primavera painting is the inspiration for his latest collection and you can view his exciting new designs and met Gomez on April 27 at the Cohn Drennan Gallery.
