Join the NTFB's Round Table and party for a cause

The Algonquin Round Table in caricature by Al Hirschfeld.

The North Texas Food Bank has launched a new philanthropic organization called "The Round Table".  I can only assume the name of this new organization takes its inspiration from the famous Algonquin Round Table of the 1920's. Made up of some of New York's most infamous writers and celebrities, they met regularly to network, gossip and (of course) drink. This new rendition holds a much more noble endeavor, that will allow for young professionals looking to fight hunger in North Texas, and expand their social and professional network.

Membership benefits include unique access to volunteer opportunities, networking events, happy hours and informational programs designed to appeal to Dallas' active young professional community.  The goal of the organization is to further engage young professionals with the North Texas Food Bank and encourage them to join the mission to passionately pursue a hunger free community.

The group is hosting their official launch by holding an "Orange Cocktail" happy hour at The Owner’s Box at the Omni Dallas on Tuesday, June 26th from 5:30PM to 7:30PM.
