CISDR Wants You To Adopt An Angel This Holiday Season

Davin Hunt, Anne Lindsey Hunt
Due to the tremendous need in the schools and communities served by Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region (CISDR), the annual Adopt an Angel Program is a way for individuals, corporations, and community organizations to support students in need during the holidays. The program will ensure that these students are “adopted” for the holidays, helping meet their basic needs with items like coats, shoes, clothing, and gifts for the holidays.

With your help, this year CISDR will brighten the holidays for over 1,500 students and their families! Chairs Anne Lindsey and Davin Hunt invite everyone to help create a warm and happy holiday for students who would not typically have a reason to celebrate. Select a gift from the online Angel wish lists, donate an unwrapped gift or $25 per child and CISDR will shop for you!

The mission of Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region, Inc. is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. CISDR operates in 77 schools in 12 school districts in Dallas, Collin, Ellis, Rockwall, and Hunt counties, with over 78% of those students living in poverty and deemed “at-risk” by the Texas Education Agency.
