On October 17, Mercury One hosted a patron party at the beautiful home of Travis and Stephanie Hollman in anticipation of the upcoming M1 Ball, happening November 17th at Mercury Studios in Las Colinas. M1 Ball event chairs D’Andra Simmons-Lock and Jeremy Lock, along with honorary chairs Francie Moody-Dahlberg and Kevin Dahlberg, and spotlight sponsors Dee Simmons and others, helmed the festive evening to celebrate charitable giving. At the soiree, guests sipped fine wines from M1 Ball beverage sponsor Rodney Strong Vineyards and noshed on light bites from F2M Hospitality. All got an exclusive preview of M1 Ball live auction highlights, including tropical beach getaways and priceless, unforgettable experiences. Don't Miss The Rights & Responsibilities Tour on June 15-17, 2018

Sponsored Post:

Rights & Responsibilities Tour

Now is your chance to experience Mercury One’s Rights & Responsibilities, an especially significant curated pop-up museum happening at the Mercury One Studios in Irving only on Father’s Day weekend, beginning Friday, June 15th through and including Saturday, June 16th and Sunday, June 17th. Mercury One, a 501(c)(3) foundation, is hosting this temporary exhibition with historically noteworthy items from their permanent collection focused on the rights and responsibilities of American citizens. Everyone is invited to join in the adventure and explore historical artifacts and documents that reveal just what it is that makes America amazing and the most innovative nation on earth: Our core principles and values as laid-out by the Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights. In light of national conversation surrounding our rights of free speech, life, religion, and self-defense, this event seeks to answer a number of fundamental questions. We talk of defending these rights, but as citizens do we recognize what our responsibilities are? As Americans, what responsibility do we shoulder when it comes to defending our rights? Do we, as a nation, still agree on the core principles and values laid-out by our founding fathers? How can we move forward amidst uncertainty surrounding the intent of our founding ideals?

Over the past 10 years, I have attended hundreds of charity events, fashion shows and parties, so it's not surprising that for the past few months, I have been experiencing event fatigue. I've decided that to keep blogging fun for me, I need to stretch myself, explore new avenues and step outside of my self-created box and that means more of a focus on people and projects that are meaningful and are striving to change the world for the better. So, when Mercury One's executive director Suzanne Bock Grishman approached me about getting involved with their annual gala this Fall, I jumped at the chance to learn more about their organization. Mercury One is a Humanitarian Aid and Education organization focused on restoring the human spirit. Their initiatives include "providing programs to individuals to advance the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary for communities to help themselves as well as assisting our nation’s veterans, providing aid to those in crisis, and rebuilding and restoring the lives of Christians and other persecuted religious minorities in the Middle East." Sounds good, but what does that really mean? On Tuesday, May 16, I joined over 100 business and community leaders at Glenn Beck’s Mercury Studios to learn more about the organization and hear announcements for the 2018 M1Ball benefiting Mercury One, the nonprofit organization founded by Beck and his wife, Tania.

Gena and Chuck Norris To Chair 2015 Mercury One Gala

Gena and Chuck Norris
Mercury One, Inc. is pleased to announce that Gena and Chuck Norris have signed on as honorary chairs for the M•ONE Gala Dallas 2015. The evening will feature Glenn Beck as keynote speaker on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Omni Dallas at Park West.

Tickets for the gala are $350 each and will include a VIP reception, seated dinner, live and silent auctions of priceless experiences and one-of-a-kind items following by a live musical performance. Another option is to attend the after-party for $75 in the Omni Park's Trinity Ballroom from 9:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. The after-party will offer a meet and greet with personalities from The Blaze TV including Tomi Lahren, Lawrence Jones, Jeffy Fisher, Brad Staggs and more.

In 2012 Mercury One, Inc. and Glenn Beck shared a vision to create a charitable organization on the principle: “We don’t stand between government aid and people in need. We stand with people in need so they no longer need the government.” Since that time, Mercury One has assisted countless families with disaster relief, supported veteran organizations, and stood strong for and in support of Israel, all while continuing the mission of education. These are our four pillars of service at Mercury One, Inc.

In addition to Pillar Projects, Mercury One has assisted partner charities such as Operation Blessing International, and local organizations like Plano-based Hope’s Door, and Carrick Brain Center of Dallas. In 2014, M1 partnered with EnPuzzlement for Border Relief projects, which are ongoing now.

M1 will continue to reach out to these and other partners, and the General Fund is the key to building those bridges. Mercury One needs the community’s help to assist in securing general funds to continue to provide grants to the numerous organizations and programs it supports. From its work at home and abroad, the support of Blaze Network sponsors, business and community leaders, and partners is critical.
