Captain C.B. Sully Sullenberger, the pilot who saved the passengers on US Air Flight 1549 last week by "ditching" the plane into the Hudson River is apparently becoming quite the Facebook phenom.
The day after the crash, he had accumulated 30,000 "friends". As I type this, four days after the incident, Sully has racked up 408,935 "friends". A Facebook record at more than 1,000 a minute.
And did I mention that he is from Denison? My hometown!
