One of the perks of having me as a Mom, is that you get your picture in the paper. A lot. Little Man's friends are starting to figure this out and I am now quite popular at school events. Everyone wants me to take their photo and when I do they say "Am I going to be in the paper?" It's not that this is a difficult task. You know what the trick is? I'm going to tell you my secret.
You submit something.
I know. So simple it's shocking. You take a cute photo. You write a witty quip about the event. And you submit it to the local paper. Try it. You too can make your child a star. At least for a few minutes.
The bit above is a recap of the Annual Fall Fundraiser held at Little Man's elementary school.
