Holiday Wrap Up: Amanda Salinas

The holidays have ended and New Year has arrived, so I asked some of Dallas' most famous faces to reflect back and tell me what they most enjoyed about this holiday season and if they have set a New Year's Resolution for themselves.

“It was a quiet Christmas at the Salinas house this year, and that’s just how we wanted it to be. Because of my work schedule, I don’t see much of my children except for breakfast. Spending quality days with my 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son was the only present I wanted. Of course we can’t forget the hubby! One of my hobbies is cooking. This year I made Roast Beef with Yorkshire pudding and gravy for our Christmas dinner. My husband is British Canadian and this was my way of honoring his heritage.

As I look ahead to 2012, I fall into the usual clich├ęs. I hope for a year filled with great things, filled love, and hope for a good America. Happy New Year!!”
