Green Grocer Launches Chefs’ Choice Charity Program

Starting in June, Green Grocer will feature a new chef, menu item and juice each month with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Chefs’ charity of choice. Chef Brian C. Luscher of The Grape and Luscher’s Post Oak Red Hots is kicking off this new Chefs’ Choice Charity program.

Chef Brian has created a dry rubbed roast beef Panini with jalapeño cheese spread, grilled onions and red wine vinaigrette slaw to be showcased through June 30 ($7.49). $1 from each Panini sold will benefit The Stewpot, a service organization which provides meals to our homeless and at-risk neighbors and assists with medical needs, counseling, enrichment of children and youth, job training, and cultural expression.

Additionally, Green Grocer has created a juice inspired by Chef Luscher dubbed Raisin’ Hell ($7.49 for 16 oz), a blend of organic grapes, pineapple, cucumber mint and ginger with $1 from each juice sold also benefitting The Stewpot.
